MYFINTAX ADVISORS PVT. LTD.

Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you, including messages you sent to our Instagram or Facebook business accounts.

Effective 16 September 2026

1. What you can ask us to delete

  • Instagram direct messages and Facebook Page messages you sent to our business accounts (including @myfintaxofficial), the replies our staff sent in that conversation, and the message timestamps and conversation identifiers held with them.
  • Instagram or Facebook comments you left on our business content, where we recorded them as an enquiry.
  • Your social profile identifier, public username or display name as stored against that conversation.
  • Enquiry, contact, callback and follow-up records created from your message, website enquiry, WhatsApp message, email or phone call.

2. How to make the request

Choose either method. Both reach the same team.

  • Email support@myfintax.in with the subject line Data deletion request.
  • Call +91 76970 00970 and ask for a data deletion request to be recorded.

Please include:

  • the platform you contacted us on (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, website, email or phone);
  • your Instagram or Facebook username, or the phone number or email address you used;
  • whether you want everything deleted, or only a specific conversation or enquiry.

You do not need an account with us and there is no charge. We may ask one question to verify that the request comes from the owner of that account or contact detail before we act on it.

3. What happens next

  • We acknowledge your request within 3 working days of receiving it.
  • We complete verified deletion within 30 days and confirm in writing what was deleted and what, if anything, we are required to keep.
  • Deletion removes the message content and the enquiry record from our systems, including our internal CRM and its message history.

4. What we may have to keep

If you engaged us for a paid professional service, Indian tax, company-law and professional record-keeping rules require us to retain engagement, filing, invoicing and payment records for a statutory period. In that case we delete your social message content and enquiry data, and keep only those statutory records. We tell you exactly what was retained and why. Nothing retained is used for marketing.

5. Revoking our access on Instagram or Facebook

Deleting a conversation from your own Instagram or Facebook inbox does not delete the copy held by us — please send the request above. You can also stop future messages reaching us at any time by blocking or muting the business account, or by removing the app from Settings → Apps and websites in your Instagram or Facebook account.

6. Escalation

If you are not satisfied with how your request was handled, write to support@myfintax.in marking the message Grievance — data deletion. Your rights and our retention periods are set out in our Privacy Policy.
