Social Messaging Privacy Notice

Our Instagram professional account @myfintaxofficial and our Facebook Page “Myfintax”. Messages and comments sent to these accounts are received in our internal staff CRM so that a named team member can answer them.

• the message or comment content you send us;
• the time it was sent, and the message and conversation identifiers;
• your platform-scoped account identifier with your public username or display name;
• any contact or business details you choose to include, such as your name, phone number, email address, city or the service you need;
• the replies our staff send you in the same conversation.

We do not collect your follower list, your media, your Instagram or Facebook insights, or any content beyond the conversation you started with us.

Solely to receive, understand, assign, answer and follow up your own service enquiry, and to keep the service history of that engagement. Social message content is never used for advertising, ad targeting, audience building, profiling, resale or model training, and is never sold, rented or licensed.

Only authorised MYFINTAX staff, through individual authenticated accounts with role-based permissions enforced at the database level. There is no public access and no third-party access. Platform access credentials are held server-side only.

Social message conversations are treated as enquiry records under section 7 (Data retention) of our Privacy Policy: kept for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period thereafter for follow-up and record purposes. Where an enquiry becomes a paid engagement, the engagement, filing, invoicing and payment records are kept for the periods required under applicable Indian tax, company-law and professional record-keeping requirements.
